- Job Title: Client Side Project Manager
- Organization: King David Community Center of Atlanta, Inc.
- Location: Norcross, Georgia
Duties Include:
- Project management responsibilities, encompassing:
- Development and monitoring of project schedules
- Coordination with contractors, architects, engineers, and electricians for design and implementation of specific plans
- Financial management of projects, including:
- Budget development and control
- Research and development of documents for project tenders and contractor negotiations
- Reviewing builder quotes, tenders, and contracts to advise on project value proposition
- Coordinating with procurement teams for purchase and delivery of building materials
- Development of bill of materials and specifications
- Reviewing technical vendor submittals to ensure adherence to design standards and specifications
- Tracking and reporting regularly on:
- Progress, cost, and schedule metrics
- Procurement issues
- Design questions
- Potential impacts
- Any issues requiring support or changes to project scope
- Acting as liaison between project teams and client to confirm engineering deliverables and services meet client's satisfaction
- Field engineering responsibilities, including site visits related to construction support within Atlanta MSA
- Client coordination, business development, business planning, and understanding specific requirements of rate case development and formal cost-benefit analysis process for project need determination
- Reading, reviewing, and interpreting client drawings in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Archicad, Magicad, Navisworks Manage software, and other technical documents
- Managing, negotiating, and authorizing scope variations where required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Construction Management, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering, or closely related field
- Minimum 24 months of job-related experience (any job title) performing:
- Construction project management
- Coordinating with contractors, architects, engineers, and electricians in design and implementation of specific plans
- Budgeting and control of a project
- Utilizing Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Archicad, Magicad, Autodesk Navisworks Manage software
